Traffic Light STEM Workshop – Learning Circuits & Coding with Micro:bit

Making Robotics
1

On April 27, we dove into the world of electronics, circuits, and coding through a fun and interactive STEM workshop! Our young engineers explored real-world traffic challenges and discovered the importance of traffic lights for both vehicles and pedestrians.

Using Micro:bit, they designed and programmed their own traffic light system, learning how LEDs, electrical circuits, and coding come together to solve everyday problems. This hands-on experience not only reinforced logical thinking and problem-solving skills but also sparked curiosity and creativity.

From assembling circuits to writing code, every child had the opportunity to experiment, collaborate, and innovate. Seeing their traffic lights in action was a proud moment—proof that learning through making is both exciting and impactful!
